The agreement between you and Courtify
Last updated: 6 October 2026
Courtify is a tennis community and club management platform, available as a web application and as mobile apps for iOS and Android. These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Courtify ("we", "us", "our") and govern your use of the platform.
By creating an account or using Courtify, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.
You need an account to use most of Courtify. When you register you agree to:
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, or the minimum age required in your country, whichever is higher. If you are under 18, you may only use Courtify with the consent of a parent or guardian.
You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
Depending on your role, Courtify lets you find and follow players, challenge opponents, record match results, track an ELO rating, join and run leagues, manage courts and bookings, offer coaching, and receive notifications about all of the above.
Courtify is a platform that connects people. We are not a party to the arrangements you make with other users — including matches, lessons, league entries, court bookings, or any payment between you and a club or coach outside the platform.
Player accounts are free. Professional roles are paid monthly subscriptions:
| Plan | Price | Billing |
|---|---|---|
| Player | Free | — |
| Coach | $20 / month | Monthly, recurring |
| League Organizer | $30 / month | Monthly, recurring |
| Club Owner | $40 / month | Monthly, recurring |
Paid plans may begin with a free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and the first payment is taken.
Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel. We will charge the payment method you provided at each renewal. Prices are shown in US dollars; your card issuer may apply a currency conversion. Taxes such as VAT or sales tax are added where applicable and shown before you confirm.
If we change the price of a plan, we will tell you in advance and the new price will apply from your next renewal, never retroactively.
How your payment is handled depends on where you subscribe:
We never see or store your full card number. Payment details are held by the payment provider, not by Courtify.
You can cancel a subscription at any time. After cancelling you keep access until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again.
Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
When using Courtify, you agree not to:
You keep ownership of everything you upload — your profile details, avatar, bio, match results, reviews and club or league information.
By posting content you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display it, solely so that we can operate and provide the platform. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we must keep a copy to meet a legal obligation.
You confirm that you have the right to post what you upload, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
We may remove content that breaches these Terms.
Courtify helps you arrange court bookings, matches, league fixtures and coaching lessons. The agreement for any such arrangement is between you and the other user, club or coach.
We do not guarantee that a court will be available, that an opponent will attend, that a lesson will take place, or that a league will run to schedule. Cancellation, no-show and fee arrangements are set by the club, coach or organiser involved.
Playing tennis carries a risk of injury. You take part at your own risk and are responsible for your own health, fitness and insurance.
We work to keep Courtify available and reliable, but we provide it "as is" and do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. We may carry out maintenance, change features, or discontinue parts of the platform.
If we discontinue a paid feature that is central to your plan, you may cancel and we will refund the unused portion of your current billing period.
Some features depend on third-party services — push notifications, email delivery, maps, sign-in providers and AI-assisted league scheduling. Interruptions in those services may affect Courtify.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost opportunity, or loss of data. Our total liability for any claim relating to Courtify is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or $50 if you use a free account.
We are not liable for the acts or omissions of other users, clubs, coaches or organisers.
You may stop using Courtify and delete your account at any time from the app, or by emailing us.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, if your use puts other users or our systems at risk, or if we are required to by law. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put things right.
If we terminate a paid account other than for a breach by you, we will refund the unused portion of your current billing period.
We may update these Terms as the platform develops or the law changes. If a change materially affects your rights, we will give you reasonable notice by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Courtify after that means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which Courtify is established, and disputes will be heard by the courts of that country.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection, nothing here removes rights you have under the law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
